Saniya Pole is a Jersey City–based multidisciplinary artist, designer, and systems thinker whose work explores how perception, attention, narrative, and technology shape the ways people construct meaning.

Her practice moves across visual communication, interactive media, sound, moving image, and conceptual research. Rather than remaining attached to a single medium, she approaches each form as a tool for making underlying relationships and structures perceptible.

Previously, as Lead Designer at Viscera Studio, Saniya worked across brand identity, digital experiences, marketing systems, video production, and website design and development. Her role extended from concept development and visual direction to client communication, process design, project management, production, and quality assurance. She also designed and built the studio’s website.

Across both her independent and applied work, Saniya is drawn to translating complex or emerging ideas into clear visual, experiential, and procedural forms. Her current explorations examine cognition, relational pattern recognition, narrative mechanics, and the design of systems that can accommodate multiple ways of perceiving, learning, and knowing.
